Making her way home from a house party gone wrong, Tia recalls the events that led to her meeting ***, and the awkward tension that devolves into violence.
Circuitus is a 10 minute short drama.
The short follows protagonist Tia as she makes her way home from a friend’ s birthday party. However, a series of flashbacks explores her less than ideal experience as she meets and interacts with *** , a mutual friend that turns out to not only be incredibly obnoxious, but outright dangerous.
The short explores themes of misogyny, male entitlement and an overall sense of frustration felt by women and other femme presenting people of how men can feel that they’re owed female attention because of their gendered status, and when this isn’t reciprocated how quickly this can turn violent.
